VMware with hpsim 7.4.1 reports false health status

Has anyone had the problem with VMware 2.5.3 running hpsim 7.4.1 reporting a degraded health status alert but when you access the link no degraded heatlh status indicators are shown on the servers system management home page? The home page shows all green checks except for 2 informational messages for the Embeddeed NEC98431 & Remote Communication Options for the Embeddeed NEC98431 and this is because ILO is disabled.

I have the same issue.

On my Windows servers, I use the HP Management Agents applet in the Control Panel and unselect the "Remote Insight Information" Agent. But I have no idea how to do the equivalent under ESX (Linux).

Anyone?
