Verification of agents of virtuals
Can someone please clarify for me if any SIM agents need to be installed on a virtual PC? We are running ESX and I do have the SIM agents installed under that. Are there any advantages of installing any component of SIM (SMH etc…) on the virtual at all?
TIA
TIA

Re: Verification of agents of virtuals
No not the agents as they monitor hardware and you have that covered.
An additional product HP VMM interacts with Virtualcentre and gives some additional value. e.g you can monitor disk thresholds and use the HP PMP product to monitor the hosts and all guests on the registered host. That does cost extra though.
