Version Control Agent sending email alerts when new software is available - annoying

I love using the VCA but only a select few of our 600+ servers have this feature configured. With HP SIM configured to pull down PSP and other updates automatically, when a newer version of something is released, I get an email stating to "critical action needed" or something like that.
If I configure all our servers to point to our Version Control Repository, I'll be getting a ton of annoying emails.
The way I have our events set is to manually add events I want alerts on. I don't see anything in there about Version Control events.
They are set as follows:

Re: Version Control Agent sending email alerts when new software is available - annoying

Go into the SNMP trap settings and select the MIB that is sending the email. disable the event or change the severity of the event to informational, which you might not have email enabled for informational events.

I think I found it.
Cpqhost.mib
cpqhocritialsoftwareupdatetrap
critical software update notification trap (11014)

So i just change the Enable Trap Handling to "NO", correct?

Yes, that is what I did. It stopped the e-mail alerts, but the events still show up in the server logs.
