Version Control Agent

how often does the HP version control agent on servers talk to the SIM CMS to verfiy packages available in the VCRM?

The status is checked whenever you access the VCA page. The view there is as recent as any material in the VCRM.
The SW icon is updated by the Software Polling task, so the SW status can be out of sync with the real status.
