Version Control Repository Update critical error

hi

i have been getting following error since mid december, it seems that the vcr is no longer updating

i am running hp sim 4.2 sp2

i have read some threads in this forum about catalog.xml errors but this seems to be different or am i wrong?

has anyone else had this issue and have you been able to solve it
