Virtualisation Manager - misidentifying a vpar as a physical server

I am running Systems Insight Manager 5.2 with Update 2 on an RX2660

I have used the hosts file method to discover nodes on my network a few at a time.
This has largely been successful with Virtualisation manager showing the server estate on the virtualisation manager screen with most vpars in their respective npars.

However, I have the following problems:-
1) some vpars have been mistaken for physical servers and are shown as separate servers.

2) some vpars are not recognised as belonging to an npar

3) some unwanted/unused server have been discovered (how do I hide these?)

4)some vpars are not reporting stats back (either have greyed out cpu/lan/disk/mem OR yellow triangle with exclamation mark in aforementioned cpu/lan/disk/mem)

Any help on these issues appreciated.
