WBEM Bundle Identification

I am installing HPSIM 5.3 on the first of my rp7420’s (PA-RISC). In following the Installation and Config Guide (http://docs.hp.com/en/418810-004/418810-004.pdf) on p27, item #2, it says to verify that the required minimum software is installed with this command: swlist –l bundle T1471AA B8465BA OpenSSL. The first and last bundles were installed, but not B8465BA. Nor did it show up with swlist –l product HPUXBASEAux.WBEMServices. But, if I do swlist –l product | grep WBEM, the WBEM Services CORE Product shows up, along with several providers (LVM, ServiceGuard).

So, since I had A.02.05.08 installed, and the current version was A.02.07.04, I downloaded the WBEM bundle by itself from the site indicated in the pdf. It was successfully installed with no errors or warnings. But I STILL do not show B8465BA when I run swlist –l bundle.

Is the pdf incorrect? Did I download the wrong software? How do I get B8465BA? Or, is it not necessary - is what I have installed good enough?

Re: WBEM Bundle Identification

I do have SIM working. Discovery eventually picked up everything and then some. I'll leave this open a few days. Maybe someone can explain, maybe not; but I will proceed from here. Thanks.

Re: WBEM Bundle Identification

The documentation you are referencing is incorrect. It seems to
me B8465BA was used during A.02.00.xx (I looked into some old
application media). When A.02.05.xx was released, the bundle name
was changed to WBEMSvcs.
