WBEM settings
Hi all,
I've just started using SIM5sp4, I have most things working but am trying to get WBEM up and runnning so that I can attach an EVA.
I have created a domain account and added it inot the grobal settings, pushed it out to a server. When I try to connect to the properties through SIM I get an Unknown WBEM error page displayed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: WBEM settings
Have you got CommandView EVA installed?
I'd recommend CV EVA 6.0, it does a much better job of SMI-S.
In HPSIM you need a WBEM entry in the System Settings for the WBEM account, typically administrator / administrator for a default SMI-S implementation.
look through this forum for similar threads, especially about using the wbemdisco command.

Re: WBEM settings
Rob,
Yes I have CV 5.0 installed ont the box.
I have downloaded 6, is it just a simple upgrade or shall I uninstall 5 first?
I have the wbem set for administrator/administrator and also a domain account for the windows systems.
This didn't work when on sp4, I upgraded to sp5 and was able to access the wbem on the box until I rebooted it.
Thanks
