WBEM

This might sound entry level for most of you, but,
Can anyone explain what i need to do to use WBEM protocol on Windows 2K/2003 Servers so that i dont have to configure SNMP. I have managed to recieve trap messages of events using SNMP on my SIM server but wanna know if it is possible to use WBEM and not having to configure SNMP on all servers.

Hi,

Dont believe that is possible since SNMP is currently the backbone for SIM and use of WBEM is still quite marginal.
