WMI Mapper version 7.1 release

Hi All, I would like to confirm if this WMI mapper release is compatible and required on a SIM6.3 installation? I'm still running SIM 6.3 and with the WMI Mapper release version of 7.1, along with a SIM 7.1 release, I just want to make sure I'm to install this on on SIM 6.3 server running Windows 2008 R2 as well.
