Re: Ways to upgrade HP SIM from version 5.1 to 5.2
Hi,
I just upgraded HP SIM 5.1.1 to 5.2.2 last week : launch HP SIM 5.2 setup (like a new install). It tells you that it will install HP SIM or upgrade it if a compatible version is found.
You will have to specify the credentials for the database connection and for HP SIM service (it will select automatically a custom setup with installed components which needs an upgrade).
I do not need to do anything particularly. For security, you can backup your HP SIM Server (files and database) before... ;-)
