What rights are required to access VCRM?

Hi - I can access my VCRM by using this link, and then entering my Active Directory user id and password.

https://Vcrmserver:2381/cgi-bin/vcrepository/cgi

I've passed the link to a colleague, and when they enter their credentials they are unable to login. What rights are required? And are they given via AD or via the HP SIM Options->Security screen? I have added the user here, but they still can't login.

I've checked the obvious - they are using the correct password :-)

Thanks, Phil

Re: What rights are required to access VCRM?

Hi Phil,
1st check that the user is able to access the SMH for the VCRM server, if not:

You may have to add the other user account into the local Admin group for that server to be able to SMH as administrator.

or
Add this user to local group and assign this group Administrator access in the SMH
Through Settings » SMH » Security » User Groups

They need to be at least an 'Operator' of the SMH on the Server running VCRM.
