can't connect to sim via web

I cant connect to our sim server via
web from my workstation. i'm using ie6 and the latest jun java runtime but after i enter user/pass I get "The page cannot be found"
and "HTTP 400 - Bad Request"
I can connect to the sim from other workstations so the server is OK.
I thing it's a java problem.
any help would be great.

Re: can't connect to sim via web

Check the Java Console if there is any error.

Re: can't connect to sim via web

Check if you have set any proxy in IE and if that is preventing you from reaching to the SIM server.

Re: can't connect to sim via web

I install the newest Java 5, but it does not work well with HP SIM, so I had to go back to 1.4.2_08.

Re: can't connect to sim via web

After what you say, it seems to be a configuration problem of your IE. It's probably not a java issue; you'd get a different error message. Just make sure that your IE doesn't use the MS java runtime.
Rather check, if scripting is enabled. Sometimes, Java Script is used for asssembling URL-requests, which seems to be incorrect in your case.
