cannot click latest version of s/w in VCA
hi there, i have insight manager 5.0 SP4 running on a windows 2003 server.
I have set up a few servers on this and seems to work well. On a windows 2000 server when i click on the VCA i get the 2 lists of software updates, the currently installed software and the latest version on the management server. however, i can't click on the latest version of the software to install it on the server.
is there any way i can enable this? It works with some other servers.
Thanks
Andoni

Try clicking the grey dots.......
The underlined version numbers only show up the version info.

Re: cannot click latest version of s/w in VCA
Verify that you have logged into System Management Homepage as administrator/Operator and have configured VCA to point to the VCRM with atleast administrator/operator privilege.
Also make sure that Anonymous access is disabled on the VCRM system.
Good Luck!

Re: cannot click latest version of s/w in VCA
I found a solution elsewhere in these forums, this issue relates to the VCM on the insight server's authentication - i had to remove anonymous authentication to get it to work. Thanks anyway all!
