error on SMH from SIM

when attempting to access the SMH from the SIM Console im getting error "no, does not support SMH protocol".

Windows 2003 SIM 5 SP 5

I can access https://localhost:2381
i have the latest version of psp

i can see all activity in the HW status...

any help please...

Click on the server name and look under the Product Description item. SMH should be listed as a Management protocol.
Try running an Identification task against the server.

thanks the Management Protocols is SNMP:1.0 , how do i change this?

You don't change it, the additional protocols get discovered and added.

Are there any firewalls between the HPSIM Server and this one?
You can test by trying to browse from the HPSIM Server to the target server's https address on the 2381 port.
If that works try running an Identification task and see if SMH gets added as a discovered protocol.

Hi Rob, port is not blocked it is working on some of the servers but not on most of them,
im looking into what else could be missing, could you think of anything off the top of your head? also do you know anything about certificates.. i have asked the question but no one seems to know much about them...

Hi Rob, in addition to your comments, for 2 of my machines are working and have the SHM protocol installed, and i can remote to their home page from the SIM application however i am not able browse using https://XXXX:2381..
