hpvmmcnt > unrecognized service

Hi,

Whren i install VMM agents on ESX, i check the installation using "service hpvmmcntsvc restart"
But i just install on a new ESX 3.5 my VMM agents and i receive
#service hpvmmcntsvc restart
#hpvmmcntsvc: unrecognized service

Since, at the end, the install finished by "HP Insight Manager agents have been installed successfully!"

No result since i have install using "./installvm800a.sh -- install" !!!

I think you are confusing the HP management agents (needed for SMH, etc.) and the VMM agent that's deployed from the CMS. Your note (and my response) address the VMM agent that's deployed from the CMS to the ESX host.

After unregistrerd then install and register again the VMM agent, it works fine
