mxconfigrepo switches

Does anyone know what the remaining switches do?

-m
-u
-s

I hit -r instead of -f, and am hoping I can relink everything instead of starting over.

Re: mxconfigrepo switches

From what i know, the command destroys the entire SIM DB:
Unconfigure (delete) SIM repository database

# mxconfigrepo -r

This command destroys all data in the SIM database!! Please be sure you want to do this.

Do you happen to have regular backups of your DB (sql / oracle)?

Re: mxconfigrepo switches

The database is still there, but is not linked to SIM. I had my DBA restore it from the previous evening, and I'm still getting link errors. The only other documentation I can find for the command is from ServiceControl Manager:

/opt/mx/lbin/mxconfigrepo -U

This command preserves all existing data in the repository. If this command fails, you need to reconfigure the repository and overwrite all existing data:

/opt/mx/lbin/mxconfigrepo -a

So I'm trying to find out what the other switches do before I go any further. The entire SIM install was down for the count anyway, so a rebuild isn't going to tear things up any more than they were.

Re: mxconfigrepo switches

-u = unsetup repository
-s = setup repository

Anyone for -m? Anyone?
