pmp 4.7 and Unsupported Configuration for dl360 g4p and dl380g5
hi
i have recently upgraded from pmp 4.1 to 4.7 and with the old version i could not use pmp for a dl360g4p but with 4.7 i cannot either
also i now have a 2003 r2 enterprise x64 os running on a dl380 g5 and this can also not be managed by pmp 4.7 (hp sim 5.2 sp2)
it gives me the same error
unsupported configuration
is there anything i can do to get this to work

Ensure the server is being correctly identified by HPSIM. That generally means SNMP needs to be correct.
Have you checked that the OS / Server is listed as supported?

Re: pmp 4.7 and Unsupported Configuration for dl360 g4p and dl380g5
i checked the matrix
the dl360g4p has a nic card nic 7782 which is not on the list of supported nic cards. would that be the cause of pmp stating unsupported config (i guess i cannot un assign the pmp license from this server?)
i also checked the dl380g5 and i cannot find any components that are not on the list
the nic is on the list
the hardddisk (sata)
the raid controller P400/P800/P6400
the Os (w2k3 r2 x64 enterprise)
snmp is working correctly as everything else works (snmp traps, properly recognised in hp sim, with mp and software status etc)
