queries snmp for hp mibs

Hello,

Ii have installed HP SIM in a linux machine. I like make a hardware inventory from a propietary inventory application. I like make snmp queries from a remote machine but when I do a snmpwalk only receive the standars mibs (host-resources, interfaces, etc...). How can i see the HP propietary mibs?. Is there any change in the /etc/snmp.conf?.

Thanks.

Hi,

To recieve SNMPwalk replies from the target node related to HP MIBS (OID), you have to install HP Insight Agent on the target node.

If you need to look into the HP MIBs on the HP SIM side that you have installed on Linux Box - Look into the installtion dir. /opt/mx/mibs file named as cpq*.mib
