Is there a way to change the threshold that dictates when HPSIM sends an email alert stating a system is unreachable?
We don't have the best WANs and it seems we experience brief comms issues to pretty much most of our remotes sites. I'd like to increase the TTL to something like 30 seconds. I'm not sure I know what the default threshold is, so it may already be 30 or more.
Thanks!

hi
Have a look in options / global protocols settings.
In the ping part, modify the time out and rety options according to your needs.
default is 5 sec I think and 2 retries.
hope it helps

Re: "System is unreachable" threshold
Thanks Fred. Guess I should have looked around a bit more!
