"communication with the hp sim server has been lost"

HP SIM 5.2+sp2
I keep getting "communication with the hp sim server has been lost" on the web pretty much every day. Wondering if somebody uses Symantec Endpoint client at the same time on his HP SIM server. Once I uninstalled the client, it seems the communication error is gone. Thoughts?

Hello,

I don´t really know about symantec endpoint p., but as far as I know the manager and also the client (?) use some parts of the tomcat webserver internally.

...the same applies to HPSIM.

Not sure if this causes the error, but for me this is the only and obvious problem origin.
