send mail only for hardware problem

Hi,
I installed hp insight manager for trap error on my phisical server HP (blade, proliant, eva etc).
How must I set my hp insight manager for send mail only for hardaware problem (power supply, disk broke, etc) and not, for example, when I reboot a server?

Server not reachable events are produced by HPSIM itself from the HW Polling task. If you don't want HPSIM to ever e-mail yo if a server is unavailable then you could disabled the polling task.
But if you just want to avoid e-mails during maintenance you can suspend monitoring of a server.
There isn't an elegant way to split the events though as unreachable and disk broke all tend to be critical alerts.
The other option may be to change the criticality of the Unreachable notification.

I think I must disable hardware polling.
Because for server unreachable I use nagios. I would use SIM only for HP hardware problem.
I must disable hardware or software polling?

Use the following protocols for status polling:

HTTP
SNMP
WBEM
WS-MAN
