After uppgrading to Proliant supportpack 7.40A all HP service will not start. If i manually tries to start them i recive: "service does not exist or has been marked for deletion" (The server is a node in a Windows server 2003 cluster).

Try upgrade to the support pack 7.40B, for sure you will need the HP Insight Agent 7.41 under the version 7.40B.

Hi Magnus,

This may sound like a dumb question, but did you reboot after upgrading/installing the agents?

Yes i rebooted many times. Tried to uninstall the agents, and installed them again with the same result.

I can solve that problem in 4 letters.

SNMP

That's what it was for me, anyway. I got that exact message when the snmp service was missing or stopped.
