Hi,
I'm pretty new here and try to implement sim to manage my servers.
Some of them are ML 350 G3 with embedded NC7760 ( network cards ) wich are not conected to the network.
The problem is that i still get major errors because sim thinks that it's an HW problem.
My question is :
Is there a way to desactivate NIC polling or to set filters so that i don't get those errors ?
Thanks for u answer.

Solution
There are 2 ways. You can either disable those nics in the OS, that are not connected or you can create a collection that groups all the nic failure events upon which you can create a Delete Events task and schedule it as per your convenient. You can also create an automatic event handling task to clear all those events so that you are not disturbed by the notification. Make sure that you filter out the events carefully while creating the collection so that genuine events are not cleared/deleted.
