suspend/resume monitoring question
I have 2 things being monitored by HPSIM 6.0 that no one knows what they are. They could be switches, but no one really knows.
Anyway I want to stop them from being monitored.
In SIM I select the system > tools and links > click on Suspend/Resume Monitoring and select Suspend monitoring of this system indefinitely.
The email alerts stop..... for a while. Some time later, all of a sudden I start getting email alerts. I go back in sim and the 2 systems are being monitored again.
Does it have anything to do with the discovery range I have set to automatically poll that subnet every week?
Why is this happening? Why does it keep getting re-enabled to be monitored?

Re: suspend/resume monitoring question
you can add those 2 systems in ignore list by puting in "Ping inclusion ranges" on discovery page
