There is a VMware softpaq that you can get by going to hp.com and following the "software download" links for the server you are trying to install to. This softpaq will include the agents and systems management homepage software needed to get the SMH up and running with VMware. However, it does not include the VCA - currently there is no VCA support for VMware - it has to do with several things not just runnning the VCA on the system.

I asked this a few years ago and a response back from HP (possibly David Claypool) was that as VMWare provide all of the drivers there's nothing to manage / monitor but did concede it may be useful for managing firmware.
The Homepage comes as part of the HP Agents
