visual Problems with 3rd party MIB's

Hi all,

We are working with HP SIM 5.1 on a SUSE 10 Linux box
i am trying to compile a specific set of mibs that will aid us in monitoring a groupwise based system. namely gwia.mib, gwada.mib gwmta.mib etc. At the present time the MIBs seemingly compile correctly all necessary RFC files are located in the correct directory on the HP SIM box, so i see Processing import file : rfcxxx.mib for all rfc's defined in the MIB. further i get the Mib compilation completed succesfully. I am able to then import the newly created cfg file into HP SIM fine. However when i go into options/SNMP Trap Settings although i can see the mib no trap names are defined in the pull down box. Yet there are TRAP-TYPE objects defined in the MIb's. I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to solve this or has anyone seen it before. i enclose a gwia.mib file in case it is something i have overlooked in thier.
Note i do rename the GWIA.mib to gwia.mib on the server pre compiling.

regards
Barry

Re: visual Problems with 3rd party MIB's

This is very disappointing that the RFC1514 mib's traps are unknow by SIM...
is it impossible then to watch a host ressource event?
