1X4-Port KVM 400336-001 mouse configuration update
The effect is that the mouse does not work correctly (skips and jumps out of bounds). I can't find a way to change it from the on-screen setup accessed by "printscreen".
The KVM has an RJ45 connector on the back which is apparently a serial connector (bad Compaq - BAD compaq - use standard connectors, RJ45 should be 10BaseT in computerland). I have found the latest firmware, but without a DB9-RJ45 cable it's not much good, and I can't find the pinouts for the cable. Are they available?
Thanks,
David Gessel

Re: 1X4-Port KVM 400336-001 mouse configuration update
did you get any further with that issue ?
I baught a used KVM-switch of this type (4115) also but cannot get ahold of any documentation or firmware.
Can you point me to a site where I can find such stuff ?
Many thanks in advance for your effort.

Re: 1X4-Port KVM 400336-001 mouse configuration update
thanks for the manual, I think it matches my hardware pretty much.
Also, at another place in this forum I found the following :
------------------------------------------------
I think the KVM 4110 switch is identical to an APEX Outlook EL-80DT. Documentation is available at:
ftp://ftp.avocent.com/public/product-upgrades/Outlook/EL40-80DT/OL_DT_UG.p
df
------------------------------------------------
I downloaded it and it seems to be a manual for the Compaq 4115 as well.
I'll try all this out and get back with the information.
Thanks again and best regards,
Matthias
