Adding a SATA HDD to ProLiant DL380 Gen9
Hi,
Is it possible to hotplug a SATA Hard Drive if I've already setup an array of SAS disks?
Will I be able to install ESXi in that separated Hard drive?
Thank you in advance!

Re: Adding a SATA HDD to ProLiant DL380 Gen9
Depending on the array controller this should work, you just cannot mix SATA and SAS in the same array.
You may consider to install ESX on an internal SD card or USB too.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
