Best way to create a RAID on already installed OS Gen 10
Hi,
Looking for guidance on how to create a RAID (say RAID 1) on a GEN 10 that has been already installed with an OS.
I'd be looking also to expand the volume to use all the available disks' capacity.
I am thinking the cleanest way is to first configure the server, disks RAID, etc and then install the OS, but would prefer not to wipe out what';s been already installed.
Thanks!

Re: Best way to create a RAID on already installed OS Gen 10
Hello,
Follow the page number 80 from the below link to expand the raid.
HPE Smart Array SR Gen10 Configuration Guide (page number 80)
http://itdoc.hitachi.co.jp/manuals/ha8000v/hard/Gen10/SA/882375-003_en.pdf
OR
From SSA, select your existing array and select Expand Array. Add the new drives.
NOTE: You should have the complete data backup before extend the raid and server performance would be slow while raid expansion.
