Console Switch Update?
I have a Compaq rack-mounted KVM switch (8-port, ps/2 connectors, part num 169968-002). I'm having problems with a mouse and wondering where I can get any available updates for this switch. I understand that CPQ has had some firmware updates for some models and an eprom update also but I don't know what applies to this unit and where to get them. Any help would be appreciated.
I got the part number from the bottom of the unit where it specified 169968-002 as the part number for replacements. Part Surfer recognized it but, other than that, it draws a blank. Perhaps there is another, more useful model number but I don't know what that would be.

Re: Console Switch Update?
Thanks for your help.
The readme in this file says to transfer the binary to the switch via serial port. My switchbox seems to have no serial port. Perhaps I need an EPROM update (if there is one). How would I find out if such an EPROM update exists?
