Hello,
Connect the power supply cable and observe the LED indication.
Power supply LED
Solid green = Normal
OFF = One or more of the following conditions exists:
Power is unavailable
Power supply failed
Power supply is in standby mode
Power supply error

To make the power supply boot without inserting to server, you have to bridge two specific pin (depends on power supply model).
There will be no LED indication, until you bridge the specific pin on the power supply.
