Thanks @Torsten. for the response.

IML seems Normal.

Not sure about the power status.

I have attached the screenshot from the ILO.

Re: DL380 Gen 10

Hello Manu,

Recommendations:
In the RBSU Bios setting ensure the following is set.
- Set the workload profile in BIOS to Virtualization Max Performance
- Set the Thermal Configuration to Increased Cooling.
- Log in to iLO adminstrator and "Reset ILO", and check for the Fan speed.
- Shut down the Server and remove the power cable from the Power supply for a couple of mins and then reconnect the Power cable.
- Reseat all the Fans properly.

Please Note: Most of Fan nosie issue are reduced after cold boot and or power drain and or Fans reseating and or ILO reset.

Even in normal operation it is expected that fans may ramp temporarily to maintain the systemwithin standard operating parameters.
This is often due to the “Optimal Cooling” in which fan settings are kept low most of the time.
If this ramping is occurring often, then it could mean that the server is operating at an elevated temperature (takes less time to get to caution) or that devices are being more heavily used (driving temperatures to caution more quickly).

If the issue still persists, please perform below:
1. Set the Thermal_Configuration to Optimal_Cooling
2. Update the Innovation Engine to 0.2.2.0 or latest
3. Update ILO firmware to v2.30 or latest
With new ILO firmware customer can set the minimum fan speed, see below User guide ILO 2.30 (page 219):

Re: DL380 Gen 10

Hello Manu83,

Please check the below:
Verify that all air baffles and required blanks, such as drive blanks, processor heatsink blanks, power supply blanks, and so on, are installed.

Try reseating the fans 1 at a time.
Verify if any specific fan in the lot is making the noise and if you feel that noise is from a specific fan/all fans, then log a hardware case with HPE.

Re: DL380 Gen 10

Hi All,

Finally the issue got resolved.

Replaced the Processor.

After analyzing the AHS log HPE suggested to replace the processor.

Thanks to all.
