The Demo Chassis was delivered from a dealer in Germany without any documentation. The system refuses to boot with a "sys fan failure" according to boot messages, although all four sys/cpu fans are running at full speed. I'm stuck due to missing docs.
The 1U rack chassis came with 2x X5260 DC XEON,
4GB RAM and a Smart Array P400 controller.
S/N: [13] SE1102-CD (168626)
O/N: CCU766310001
As far as I found out it is assembled in the Czech Republic.
Thanks for any help or hint, where I could find any information

SolutionSE1102 is a scalable unit built on DL160 G5 chassis.
Check this customer advisory Document ID: c01746343
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01746343〈=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodSeriesId=3580694&prodTypeId=15351&printver=true
You may update the system bios and ILO firmware to see whether it makes any difference.
You may also log a case with HP to troubleshoot this issue further.
hope this helps,
thanks,
Aftab

Re: Documentation on SE1102-CD Demo Chassis
thanks for your helpful comments!
I was able to boot the device by plugging the fan in question to another "sys fan" connector on the mainboard. That way, the sys fan was considered and the failure boot message disappeared.
I am still unclear if I may apply DL160 G5 system bios/firmware to the SE1102-CD. The installed bios is ROMID 031 03/09/09, which isn't listed for the DL160 G5 (recent: 2010.10.25, 8 Dec 2010, previous: 2009.07.27, 25 Aug 2009).
Furthermore, 'my' SE1102-CD apparently doesn't provide ILO. Could you please reconfirm if I actually may apply DL160 G5 firmware?
Thanks again,
chg

Re: Documentation on SE1102-CD Demo Chassis
Although it is build on dl160 G5 server but system bios may be different as this is scalable unit.
You need to call HP Support as to get the right firmware for this unit.
thanks,
Aftab
