Fans full speed - Proliant ML110 Gen5
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_33b7e9fe64024d07834adb81c1#tab-history
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_2cdadd5df9b84d1ab3b196597d#tab-history
Boa sorte!

When updating the BIOS of this server I came across fans operating at 100% even without hardware demand.

Go to the official downloads page to download the SP51267 file (latest BIOS available 2010.10.25)

* Attention: Always choose the download option that has a name (For USB KEY MEDIA)
Start from the BIOS, creating the bootable pendrive with the downloaded tool. If the utility presents an error message when trying to format, use the windows diskpart and the clean command on the pendrive.
Boot from the USB stick and start the update procedure. Certainly when the fans finish, they will be in high speed constantly.
Now it's time to go to the other utility and, in a similar way to the previous one, proceed with the creation of the booting USB flash drive.
This update takes longer than the BIOS, so be patient and prefer to use the UPS powered server for a secure update. When finished and rebooted, the machine will start the reconfiguration process and the fans should operate normally.
Good luck!
