Filters for Servers
We are getting a lot of dust in the servers. I need some sort of high-flow air filter material that we can put in the air vents in the front of the rack. It needs to be designed for computers – for two reasons. First, most air-filters are electro-statically charged, so I don’t believe we can use those due to possible damage from the static electricity they can generate. Second, we need an air-filter that is designed to stop dust and allow high air-flow – we don’t need to stop micro-particles like pollen.
Our servers are HP and I know that HP certifies people to clean the servers. We are not looking to contact Hp yet. Does anyone know if there are materials that we could use internally to fix this problem? ...Something that could be picked up at the hardware store?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
