HP Power Protector and Digi TS4 Serial Port Server

Is it possible to use HP Power Protector with a serial port other than COM1 or COM2 (ttyS0 or ttyS1)?

I want to confgiure Power Protector to monitor several UPSs using a Digi serial port server.   The ports show up in Linux as /dev/ttyU100 - /dev/ttyU103 (4 port server.)

I don't need to monitor UPSs that communicate via control signals (though the Digi supports standard control signals), all of these UPSs communicate with the monitoring software via serial text.
