HP PowerTrust UPS (A2994A)
Setting up a small network environment for a local school i came across a HP UPS (A2994A). I'd like to use it on a server running Win2000 Adv.Serv. (non HP hardware).
Does anyone know if it is possible to hook up this UPS to generic hardware (cable to serial port) ?
If so...do you also know how the pinning should be (the original cable from ups to server is nowere to be found, do have some cables from APS smart UPS's)
Offcourse i hooked up the power for the server via the UPS, but i would prefer to see the server being shut down in case of power outage.
thanx.
