HP ProLiant ML110

Hello,

I have HP ProLiant ML110 Server and since this morrning there is no video output.

When I turn on the server there is a one long beep and two shorts, after 30 seconds again two short beeps.

I have removed the battery to reset the bios, but still the problem exist?

Please, does anyone knows what the beeps means?

Hi
The Port Error code guide is here - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c01702138
I couldn't find one with 1 long and 2 short but maybe this is two separate codes. Hope this helps.

Re: HP ProLiant ML110

Thanks for the reply.

I allrady read the article code quide, but unfortunately did not find anything.

It is weird, the beeps are gone, when I power the server the load if the case fan is 100% and it stays that way. Everything seams to work fine, but there is no video .

Re: HP ProLiant ML110

Hello,

I think System board needs to be replace.

Or
you can try to check with the minimum configuration  to POST.
Power drain the server ( Remove power cable from the server and hold on power On switch for 30 Sec.)

Beeps Error Message Description [/CENTER]
1 short DRAM refresh failure- The programmable interrupt timer or programmable interrupt controller has probably failed

2 short Memory parity error- A memory parity error has occurred in the first 64K of RAM. The RAM IC is probably bad

Beeps Error Message Description

1long, 2 short Video adapter error- Either video adapter is bad or is not seated properly. Also, check to ensure the monitor cable is connected properly.

Re: HP ProLiant ML110

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

Here is what I have done so far:

1) Removed the battery CMOS and power cable for like 12 hours;

2) Removed all 4 RAM sticks and tried one by one inserting and powering on, with only one stick;

3) Installed PC express GPU to see if there will be eventually video output.

4) Power drained the server as you described.

Non of them above resolve my problem.

Probably it is the motherboard
