HP Proliant ML310e Gen8 Disk Clone and replacement

Hello all,

I would like to clone a non-RAID system drive (500GBs) and replace it with a larger one (1TB).  The drives are both HP recommended drives for this system.  I have two other drives that are Mirrored.  I have created an Acronis rescue disk with the correct RAID controller drivers to perform the clone.  I have done this many times with other servers, but not with this particular model.  Is there anything I need to be aware of?

Re: HP Proliant ML310e Gen8 Disk Clone and replacement

I attempted to clone using Acronis and Easeus.  However, the clones failed to boot on the server because I suspect that these versions are not Server OS Compatible.  To keep it simple I didn't clone to an SSD.  Even though I set the partition to be "active" the cloned drive would not boot(MBR like original disk).  Do any of you have any suggestions for Server cloning utilities that are reliable without spending more than $200?
