HP Rack and Power Manager AND PowerChute Plus

Hi all!

We're installing HP PRM in our environment and all remote servers (old Compaq and newer HP) have Powerchute Plus software monitoring the Local UPS.

I wanted to know if the HP PRM Serial agent can be installed while PowerChute Plus is installed. Do they conflict? Any help would be appreciated.

Powerchute has its own hpux software. Which will work well with an hp-ux or hp pc based server(using win/linux version). It should not conflict.

I don't think you should have both configured. The hp server should be configured to work with the device its getting power from.
