HP SMH on DL380 G8 and CentOS ... not grabbing info
I've got SMH running on a CentOS 7.5 install on a DL380 G8, but "Component Status Summary" shows "no items" and "System Model" shows "Null". I was wondering what I might be missing.
The "Overall System Health Status" has a green check mark, as does every item under "Management Processor," "Recovery," "Storage," "System," and "Utilization," so I would guess that the SNMP agents are working.
Why might it not be fully populating the Summary or identifying the system?
Any insight is appreciated.

Re: HP SMH on DL380 G8 and CentOS ... not grabbing info
Hi jcdick1
I am not sure which version of SMH you are using, so I would firstly check the SMH support matrix is the OS is supported.
Just make sure you have the latest SMH and all the HPE management agent pack, your smh templates to be latest. Once you have the latest packages restart the SNMP services once from OS and also the SMH services. Now check if all the information is populated. Also make your ilo firmware and agentless management services running are latest and try restarting them as well to see the difference.
Thx
I work for HPE

I have confirmed I am running the latest available in the HPE Linux repo.
