HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen 10 EPYC 7xx3 / Zen 3 support?
Hello guys!
We have an DL385 Gen 10 server with a first generation EPCY running.
HPE released newer firmware to support EPCY 7xx2 / Zen 2, but yet didn't do that for EPYC 7xx3 / Zen 3 architecture. Any chance to get an information about plans there? I'd like to upgrade to a Zen 3 based model of course but don't know if there will be support and can't find any information about that.
Zen 2 would be the 2nd choice, though I'm not in a hurry yet.
Regards, Christof

The gerneral support of that generation. If HPE includes one, they most likely include all HPE generally offers.
Specifically looking for Epyc 7313 or Epyc 7313p support to upgrade the exising server.

Re: HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen 10 EPYC 7xx3 / Zen 3 support?
As of now there is no plan to upgrade Epyc 7313 or Epyc 7313p on exising server (HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen 10).
However you can refer HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10 Server - Option Parts, if there are new processors added it will add to supported processor list under option parts list.

Re: HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen 10 EPYC 7xx3 / Zen 3 support?
I know that there are _yet_ no 7xx3 CPUs supported,, that's why I'm asking about plans/roadmap. I already expected HPE to only make V2 series compatible, but I won't change a whole server for that.
As there are no plans, I'd probably stick with an upgrade to EPYC 7262 or 7302.
