Hi,

What is the difference between IO cardcage and IO chasis

Hi,

Both are same. It is just terms. In cell based servers we have this IO cardcage(some people call it as IO chasis) which will be connected to cell boards. It has punch of PCI slots along with core IO card

There is another passive component IO backplane where these IO cardcage will be fixed.
