IP KVM Problem

We`ve recently bought four 0*2*16 port IP KVM switches. However I can connect to none of them via serial cable with hyperterminal.
The conditions are the follows: 9600 bit,8 data, 1 stop, no parity, flow control none
It was working on the 1*16 port switches in the past with the same serial port conditions.
Serial cable: xxxxxxxxxx
What could be the problem?
