L21 vs B21 in DL380 gen10

Hi everyone,
the customer has DL380 gen10 (P24842-B21) server with the following CPU Installed P23550-L21 Intel Xeon-Silver 4214R (2.4GHz/12-core/100W) FIO. He wants to replace that with this CPU P24467-B21 Intel Xeon-Gold 6226R (2.9GHz/16-core/150W).  Is that ok to replace the L21 CPU with B21? is there an incompatibility issue that he could run into? Thanks!

Hi @ArsenAstezh

Looks like this should be supported.

Field upgrades from 1st generation processors (x1xx) to 2nd generation processors (x2xx) not supported.

Here both are 2nd Generation Processors.

Please refer the Quickspecs before :  https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getdocument.aspx?docname=a00008180enw#

Thank you
