Memory offlining in Superdome Flex fails for one of the memory blocks
I have a 8Socket HPE Superdome flex server which has SLES15 as its install base. I was verifying memory hot plug scenario in this system surprisingly memory offlining of one memory block belonging to each of the socket fails.
echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/node/node7/memory672/online
-bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument
Can I know what is happening here and why I am unable to make memory block 672 offline

Re: Memory offlining in Superdome Flex fails for one of the memory blocks
Applogies for not updating this thread!
Looks like this is known issue in SUSE and the same has been confirmed by the vendor.
