Mouse Freezing
I have 4 proliant 5500 clusters connected to a 8 port KVM switch. Regularly the integrated tracker ball on the compaq MX11800 keyboard freezes. The TFT 5000 is not affected nor is keyboard activity. The only way to resolve it has been to reboot the server.
Can anyone help ?

Re: Mouse Freezing
This could be firmware so, if it's what I think it is, press - Print Scrn - F2 - Version... This should show the firmware version currently in use.

Re: Mouse Freezing
Ron in reply to your queries: I can only find the Compaq spare part number on the switch this is 147094-001. There appears to be no reference to a part number.
Print Scrn - F2 did not work. I found the following info by using setup on the switch menu I hope this is relevant:
Setup version
S 1.3.0 I
F 0.0.0
H 0.0.8
O 1.3.0
A 0.0.12
Keyboard enabled, rate:20, LED's:0, Mode 2, Type 101.
Mouse enabled, Rate:40, Resolution 3, Type LGC8
