Powermanager indicates UPS not connected on multiple servers.
Servers, DL380, G3 and G4
UPS R3000 XR
ILO is not enabled
Platform: RHEL 3, update 7
Version of Powermanger: 4.0-10.1
Originally set up via DMSetup on Serial Port 1.
Verified by Powermanager web page communications to UPS good. Go back and check a couple of months later and see "not connected" Attampt to re-run DMSetup fails.
We must bring down the server and powercycle the UPS, reboot the server and all is fine once again.
I am aware of Customer Advisory ES041112_CW01
Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.
TIA
~peter
