Re : Lansafe
Hi,
Can anyone kindly help, I'm trying to setup a R3000XR UPS on a L1000 HP Unix server. I have install the lansafe software, but somehow or rather it doesn't seems to be able to communicate with the UPS port on the L1000 server. Please advice how can I setup this UPS.
Regards
Vincent

Re: Re : Lansafe
Hi!
Maybe it's too late now but...
Look at my problem:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=531590
Try to discover what kind of GSP card you have. Look for the serial conections cable at the back of the server: the gray M-cable (~octopus?) means ver.A and the black cable means ver.B.
If you have ver.A then I'm afraid you'll have to replace it to v.B.
